Role of Uncultivated lands and Livestock economy on the Environment of Hadauti Region
Description
The geographical environment is a basic determinant of its socio-economic, cultural and political activities. Remarkable features ofits surface, physiography and soil compositions make this region a typical physical unit. The region is mainly composed oflow hills and discretely distributed plateau area with shallow plains. The area exhibits numerous natural diversities and reflects a queer and confused amalgam oflowland and upland topography. Its central region is traversed by river Chambal and its tributaries, which is surrounded by hills. Uncultivated lands like forests, grasslands, tank foreshores, infertile, cultivable and uncultivable wastes and permanent fallows, greatly supports the incomes of rural people. When these lands are preserved properly, the interdependent relationships between uncultivated lands and the cultivated lands ensures the sustainability of an eco-system.
