Figure 2. Lateral view of a recently emerged individual (female) of the Paratanytarsus laccophilus species group in Utqiaġvik, Alaska. The specimen was submerged in a thin film of 70% EtOH immediately after it emerged from a rear- ing cup in the lab, and her natural coloration was captured via photomicroscopy. Scale bar = 1 mm.
