Description
The standardized File System Structure (FSS) is an approach to structure research and support projects (i.e., data, code, results, and concepts) in a pre-defined directory structure and using pre-define files. The FSS is part of the part of the ENCORE (ENhancing COmputational REproducibility) project of the Bioinformatics Laboratory (Amsterdam UMC) to increase reproducibility of computational projects (manuscript in preparation).
The FSS Navigator is a simple Python tool that parses a specific directory and writes a (html) file to easily navigate the directory structure and inspect the files that are in there.
