Distribution. Transeurasiatic, temperate. Throughout the Russian territory from Kaliningradskaya Oblast to Primorye, Sakhalin Isl. and Kuriles (except Caucasus, Kamchatka, Magadanskaya Oblast and northern part of Khabarovsky Kray). Outside Russia in Europe, Mongolia, N and NE China, Korea, Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu Isl.).
Hostplants: fresh and flaccid leaves of Vaccinium myrtillus, Lonicera, Betula, Alnus, Galium, Solidago, Rumex, Epilobium, Polygonum, Taraxacum, Vicia, Salix, Populus (Beljaev 2016).
