Distribution. West Palaearctic–Central Palaearctic, temperate. From Kaliningradskaya Oblast to Republic of Buryatia. Outside Russia: Europe, Morocco, Algeria, Turkey, Transcaucasia, N Iran, Kazakhstan, Middle Asia, central Mongolia.
Hostplants: Fabaceae (Medicago, Onobrychis, Astragalus, Cytisus) sometimes Prunus, Rosa, Vaccinium myrtillus, Rumex, Polygonum, Leucanthemum (Hausmann 2004).
