The Personal Development of Managers in the Pre-University Education System as an Imperative of Changing Education
Description
Today, more than ever, the need for the personal development of managers in the pre-university education system creates premises for motivation/self-motivation and a desire to maintain the status of leader in the institution. Education must undergo changes not only in order to “get healthy”, but also to ensure a high yield, continuous progress, the formation of an adequate self-identity in the context of reforms in other fields. Critical and prospective thinking and education for change can have – for teachers, managers, but also students – a considerable contribution in the process of continuous adjustment of the school to the demands and changes of society. In this context, motivation for the position of leader has become a key necessity, and the implementation of the need for personal development – a current trend that would give meaning to the active involvement of managers in the changes in the educational process.
