Integrating a mandatory and hands-on course on Open Science and Reproducible Research into the … Curriculum

In this presentation, we detail the motivation and current development of a new compulsory Open Science and Reproducible Research module of the upcoming Mannheim Master’s in Social Data Science. The goal of this module is for students to develop expertise, methodological competence and personal competence in Open Science practices so that they can implement in the future research endeavours. It is hoped that this course is the first step towards introducing Open Science into their broader university curriculum.
