Polydesmus dissectus Wood, 1867: 129
Neotype: 1 ♂. Polydesmida: Xystodesmidae / Polydesmus dissectus Wood / SUPPLEMENTAL M NEOTYPE, 15M,/ 43F supplemental paraneotypes,/ Sig. Shelley, 1995 / CALIFORNIA: Kern Co., Ft. Tejon,/ 31 Jan. 1965, D. L. Tiemann // [in microvial] SUPP. M NEOTYPE // [barcode label] FSCA 00070897.
Conservation status: Fair condition; in 75% EtOH.
Additional notes: Paraneotype 15 ♂♂ & 43 ♀♀ in vial; same location data; FSCA 00070912 – FSCA 00070969. Originally described as Polydesmus dissectus Wood, 1867. Now a synonym of Xystocheir dissecta Wood, 1867. Synonym established by Hoffmann (1999).
