Description
Eurymerodesmus paroicus (Chamberlin, 1942: 7)
Neotype: 1 ♂. Paresmus paroicus Chamb. 2M/ NEOTYPE / Det. Shelley, 1988 FSCA // [hw label] 9005. Farmerville St. / Ruston, La. / Dec. 1954 Harmon // [hw label] III 6-55 // [in microvial] NEOTYPE, Sig. Shelley 1988 // [barcode label] FSCA 00070896.
Conservation status: Fair condition; in EtOH, gonopodia in microvial.
Additional notes: One additional specimen in vial; FSCA 00070895; neotype designation by Shelley (1990); originally described as Paresmus paroicus Chamberlin, 1942, and subsequently moved to Eurymerodesmus paroicus (Chamberlin, 1942) by Shelley (1990).
