Holotype: 1 ♂. HOLOTYPE ♂/ PARATYPE ♂ juv./ DIPLOPODA / EURYDESMIDAE / Caraibodesmus acutipes / Loomis/ det. H. F. Loomis, 1975/ JAMAICA: Middlesex, Saint/ Ann Parish, 1 mi. S. of/ Claremont/ 26- XII-1972 / S. & J. Peck // C. acutipes N. SP / Holotype ♂ // FSCA 00070722.
Conservation status: Good condition; in 75% EtOH.
Additional notes: Paratype ♂ and juvenile in vial; same location data, FSCA 00070723 – FSCA 00070724.
