Holotype: 1 ♂. Julida: Parajulidae / Arvechamboides ocala Shelley / ♂ Holotype, Sig. Shelley, 2006 // FLA: Marion Co.,/ R 24E T 12S Sec. 35/ [hw] 11-I-77 [/hw]/ C. R. Smith, pitfall/ 4 yr sandpine scrub // [barcode label] FSCA 00070889.

Conservation status: Poor condition; in 75% EtOH; several dissections in microvials.
