Impact of Work-from-Home Jobs on Technostress and its relation with Employee Productivity: An Empirical Study

Abstract: This paper aims to see the impact of  work-from-home jobs on different techno stressors and its impact on employee productivity. To assess the effects of work-from-home jobs on techno stressors, the study has applied multivariate analysis (Manova) and finding confirms significant positive impact on techno uncertainty, complexity and overload. The study has also applied the linear regression technique to determine the impact of techno stressors on the productivity of the employee. The finding confirms significant impact of techno uncertainty on the productivity of the employees, showing fear of losing jobs causing uncertainty positively impacting the productivity of the employees. The study also suggested to policymakers for providing mandatory digital training to employees for reducing techno stress in work-from-home jobs and making efficient use of information technology in WFH jobs.
