Contributions and Challenges of Resort Owners in Camarines Norte: Basis for Promotion and Management Plan

The overarching aimed to unveil the
contributions and challenges of resorts owners in
Camarines Norte. Specifically, it described the
demographic profile of the resort owners in Camarines
Norte. In addition, it sought to identify if there a
significant relationship between the profile and the
contributions of resort operations as well as the profile
resort owners and the challenges they encountered. The
study utilized the descriptive-correlational method with
a survey questionnaire which served as the main tool in
data gathering. There are a total of 21 resort owners in
the province which comprised the respondents of the
study. Based on the data gathered, resort owners in
Camarines Norte strongly agree that they contribute to
the economic aspects of the province. The study also
revealed the challenges encountered by resort owners in
their operation in terms of their marketing which they
considered moderate problem. Significant relationship
between the profile and the challenges of the resort
owners encountered in resort operations showed a
statistically significant moderate positive relationship at
between civil status profile and perceived challenges of
the resort owners.
