Agrypnus himalyansis: Akhter et al., 2014: 114 [unavailable name, incorrect subsequent spelling not in prevailing usage].
Distribution. Afghanistan, China, Nepal, Pakistan (Cate 2007, Akhter et al. 2012 a, Naz et al. 2012, Prosvirov 2017).
Literature. Akhter et al. (2012a: 43): first record from Pakistan [as Agrypnus]; Naz et al. (2012: 39): revision, figures of habitus and male genitalia [as Agrypnus]; Akhter et al. (2014: 117): identification key [as Agrypnus himalyansis; sic!].
Remark. The records from Pakistan need verification (Prosvirov 2017).
