Improvisation as a Method of Education of Future Actors in the Scenic Space
Description
In the article the task is set to examine the problems that have not been studied in the domestic science, connected with the place of improvisation in theatrical pedagogy. Future actors, as a rule, are very difficult to get used to the role picture and to establish a live, improvisational interaction with a partner. The methods that are not always appropriate to use in creating classical productions in a professional theater are absolutely win-win in the process of acquiring the actor’s skills of a future performer. The methodology of the research is: a characteristic of the concept of improvisation, its specificity and place in the actor’s stage work (to justify practical generalizations); the theoretical method of improvisation techniques (for constructing analogies between the delineation of a professional stage and the actor’s skill set in terms of using improvisation opportunities); historical-comparative method (for the analysis of common and distinctive genre-stylistic signs of improvisation). The scientific novelty of the work is to consider the basic functions of stage improvisation in order to identify the specific pedagogical approaches to the formation of an understanding of the development of abilities in the improvisational work of students. Conclusions. It is proved that improvisation as an element of acting skills is an important element of the methodological approaches of teaching in the formation of students’ skills. In the process of improvisation, the future actor creates something completely new and in this is its essence. Repetition is no longer improvisation, but because any improvisation is unique. A characteristic feature of improvisation is that it allows for a special look at the habitual and find something new in the creative process of reincarnation.
