Type locality: India, Meghalaya, Khásis
= Syllepte picalis Hampson, 1903b: 216, pl. 100 fig. 9 (homonym, duplicate description)
Type Locality: India, Khasis
Distribution. Indian records: Khasi (Meghalaya) (Hampson 1899a, 1903, Gupta 1994). Global records: unknown.
Remark: The description of Sylepta [sic] picalis Hampson, 1903b is identical with that of Sylepta [sic] picalis Hampson, 1899a. We therefore conclude both names are homonyms.
