Type locality: India, Dehra Dun
Distribution. Indian records: North India (Rose & Dhillon 1980c), Dehradun, Mussoorie (UP [presently in Uttarakhand]) (Gupta 1994). Global records: unknown.

Type species: Margarodes conchylalis Guenée in Boisduval & Guenée, 1854, subsequent designation by Moore ([1886] 1884 – 7)
