D2.3 Printed materials and devices - 2

Description

Deliverable 2.3 comprises a second release of Deliverable 2.1 and exposes advances related to WP2 – T2.1.1. Development of novel inks printing conditions and T2.2. Printed Circuits and SMD assembly.
Task T2.1.1 aims to set the printing conditions of selected inks developed in WP1 applied to primary active components for the final demonstrators: organic photodetectors and antennas. The partners participating in this task are EUT, GNK, UPA, COC and AWCP.
T2.2 aims to develop the printed circuit hybridization on two cases: 1) placing SMD components and interconnects over antennas printed on nanocellulose foils and 2) assembling photosensor reader printed on PI foil over a polymeric substate that confers mechanical robustness towards the posterior thermoforming and overmoulding processing.
The participating partners for each case are EUT and UWL for case 1 and TNO for case 2. D2.3 summarizes the most relevant results exposed in D2.1 which entails work carried out from month 5 (T2.1.1) and month 8 (T2.2) to month 12, and reports in more detailed advances first until month 20 (on the planned submission) and with updated information at the end of WP2 in month 27.
