Celmisia lateralis var. villosa Cheeseman 1906
Creators
Description
33. Celmisia lateralis var. villosa Cheeseman (1906: 302).
Type:— NEW ZEALAND. NEW ZEALAND. South Island, Mt Murchinson, Buller Valley, 3000–4500 ft., W.L Townson 565 (holotype AK 24964!, AK 209507!, AK 209501!).
Notes:— Herrick & Cameron (1994) indicated that AK 209507 and AK 209501 were formerly part of AK 24964, which is also clear from the information on the sheets. Since the three sheets are held in the same herbarium (T.F. Cheeseman at AK), all of them correspond to the holotype (ICN Art. 8.3, Turland et al. 2018).
