FIGURE 8. Phylogenetic tree for four species of Metabetaeus and Salmoneus aduncus Komai, 2022 used as an outgroup taxon; obtained by ML analysis of 16S rRNA gene sequences using the TIM3+I substitution model. The best tree with the highest log likelihood (-1856.260992) is shown. Bootstrap values of higher than 70% are indicated at nodes as percentage values. There was a total of 386 bp in the final dataset trimmed with Gblocks.
