Data entry template for material composition - part of eNanoMapper Template Wizard
Description
The Template Wizard at NanoSafety Data Interface https://search.data.enanomapper.net/ provides an user-friendly online form that allows users to select a specific end-point and to specify essential information about the experiment they will perform and for which they require a data (and associated metadata) capture template.
The template for material composition include the following:
1. Material
- Short name: A short name or abbreviation for the material
- Long name: A longer, more descriptive name for the material
- Substance type: Ontology term reflecting the core composition of the material (e.g., NPO_354 for multi-walled carbon nanotubes)
- Supplier: Name or identifier of the supplier of the material
2. Component: The name or identifier of each component that makes up the material
- 2.1. Component number: A unique identifier for each component within the material
- 2.2. Component type: The type or role of each component (e.g., core, doping, shell, functionalization)
- 2.3. Function: The function or purpose of each component within the material
- 2.4 Component identifiers: Additional identifiers for each component
- 2.4.1 EINECS: European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances (EINECS) number for each component
- 2.4.2 CAS: Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) number for each component
- 2.4.3 Name: Name of each component
- 2.4.4 Tradename: Tradename of each component
- 2.4.5 SMILES: Simplified Molecular Input Line Entry System notation for each component
- 2.5. Proportion: The proportion or percentage of each component within the material
- 2.5.1. Lower limit of the proportion or percentage for each component
- 2.5.2. Upper limit of the proportion or percentage for each component
The COMPOSITION.json file is a configuration file, mapping the Excel template into the eNanoMapper data model, as described in [1]. This allows importing data into eNanoMapper database and NanoSafety Data Interface [2].
