Description
103. Amblyomma quadricavum (Schulze, 1941 b).
Neotropical: 1) Cuba, 2) Haiti, 3) Jamaica, 4) Puerto Rico (Černý 1969b, Keirans & Garris 1986, Keirans & Klompen 1996, Alvarez et al. 2020, Guglielmone et al. 2021).
Several records of Amblyomma quadricavum have been published under the name Aponomma quadricavum or Amblyomma arianae, a synonym of Amblyomma quadricavum described by Keirans & Garris (1986).
Nowak (2010) listed Amblyomma quadricavum from a captive reptile imported from El Salvador, but the country of infestation is regarded here as unconfirmed.
