Medetera inspissata Collin, 1952
Material examined. Bohemia: Železná (6341), Farský potok (stream) env., 49°35′53″N 12°34′40″E, 500 m, Populus, 15.viii.2021, 1 ♁ (MCH). Postřekov (6542), Postřekovské rybníky NR, 49°26′60″N 12°49′39″E, 400 m, Populus, 8.vii.2020, 1 ♁ (MCH); ditto, 18.vii.2020, 1 ♁ (MCH); ditto, 8.x.2020, 2 ♁♁ (MCH). Domažlice (6543), 49°25′57″N 12°54′22″E, 445 m, Populus, 4.x.2020, 1 ♁ (MCH); ditto, 30.viii.2021, 1 ♁; ditto, 9.x.2020, 4 ♁♁ (MCH); ditto, 26.ix.2021, 1 ♁ (MCH).
Distribution. Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Great Britain, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland.
Status in CZ. The first records are given herein.
Ecology. Similar to that of the closely related M. freyi (see above).
