Stegana (Steganina) minutiflava Li & Chen, sp. nov.
Description
Stegana (Steganina) minutiflava Li & Chen, sp. nov.
(Figs. 11I, 11J, 52)
Diagnosis. This species is similar to S. (S.) cylindrica Wang, Gao, & Chen, 2013 in the shape of male terminalia (as fig. 2 in Wang et al. 2013, Fig. 52), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the surstylus lacking peg-like tooth (Fig. 52A, B); the cercus with much pubescence (Fig. 52A); the aedeagus tubular, lacking pubescence (Fig. 52C, D); the aedeagal sheath lacking serrated process (Fig. 52E, F).
Description. Male and female: First flagellomere brown. Clypeus brownish in male, brown in female. Mesonotum brownish yellow medially, yellow laterally (Fig. 11I). Katepisternum yellowish (Fig. 11J). Scutellum brown, yellow at tip in male (Fig. 11I), brown to black in female. Halter mostly grey (Fig. 11J). Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites medially brownish in male, black in female, yellow laterally (Fig. 11I, J); sternites yellow, about 1.3 times as wide as long. Male terminalia (Fig. 52): Epandrium with ca. 15 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side (Fig. 52A). Surstylus with some setulae near distal margin, lacking pubescence (Fig. 52A, B). Hypandrium strongly expanded anteromedially (Fig. 52C, D). Pregonite small, with 2 sensilla (Fig. 52C, D). Aedeagus lacking serrated process (Fig. 52C, D). Subepandrial sclerite expanded dorsally (Fig. 52G).
