Stegana (Steganina) daiya Cui & Chen, sp. nov.

Diagnosis. Eighth sternite broadened, rounded distally, with several sensilla, setae, and some pubescence distolaterally (Fig. 35E).

Description. Female: Clypeus brownish. Mesonotum dark brown medially, brown laterally (Fig. 7I, J). Katepisternum yellow, slightly greyish below (Fig. 7J). Scutellum black (Fig. 7I). Halter mostly grey. Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites mostly black (Fig. 7I, J); sternites brownish, slightly wider than long. Female terminalia (Fig. 35D–F): Epiproct with several setae, lacking pubescence (Fig. 35D). Cercus with numerous setae and much pubescence (Fig. 35D). Hypoproct with numerous setae and much pubescence posteriorly (Fig. 35F).

Type materials. Holotype ♀ (SCAU, No. 125608, DNA #2565), CHINA: Fengtongzhai, Baoxing, Sichuan, 30°32'42''N, 102°54'24''E, alt. 1700m, 19.ix.2005, ex tussock, H.W. Chen. Paratype: 1♀ (SCAU, No. 125609, DNA #547), other data same as holotype.

Distribution. China (Sichuan).

Etymology. From the word " daiya " in Qiang language from the Qiang nationality living in Sichuan, China, referring to the meaning "a mysterious place".
