The paper solves the problem of increasing the efficiency of a solar cell based on a combination of two technologies: nano technology and technology for creating semiconductor hetero junctions. It is shown that the use of three types of nano-crystals of lead chalcogenides: PbS, PbSe, PbTe contribute to increasing the efficiency of the solar cell. A zone diagram of the nano hetero transition is constructed PbS:Si, by analogy with the construction of a zone diagram of a macroscopic hetero junction. When analyzing the construction of the band diagram, a significant dependence of the density of the linear multi-exciton energy spectrum of electrons and holes in nanocrystals on the ratio of their effective masses is taken into account.
