Details of mouthparts of Scrapter bees: (26) Lateral view of mouthparts showing the two basic postmentum configurations, (27) Posterior view of postmentum and associated features of female S. chloris, (28) Posterior view of postmentum and cardo of female S. algoensis, (29) Lateral view of postmentum of female S. amplispinatus, (30) Oblique posterior view of postmentum and associated structures of female S. nitidus (note that the posterior process of postmentum has been artificially pushed into contact with the premental apodeme). Abbreviations: AdS – additional sclerite, LatP – lateral 'panel' of postmentum (= 'lorum'), Pm – postmentum, PPP – posterior process of postmentum, Prem – prementum, UP – upper part of postmentum.
