Review of the policy element for the research data management framework for institutions

This is a report on a project that tested the Research Data Management Framework for Institutions, developed by the ARDC and 25 Australian universities under the Institutional Underpinnings Program.

The University of New England (UNE) project involved a thorough consideration, commentary and review of the framework's Policy element, by considering the current policy and associated documents and the current committee structure and pathways of consultation within UNE.

About the Institutional Underpinnings Program

In partnership with 25 Australian universities, we created a jointly-agreed Research Data Management Framework for Institutions to manage, share, retain and dispose of research data. Each partner university conducted projects to validate and test an aspect of the framework in their local contexts. This is a report on one of the projects.
