HOW OPEN LOOP PROCESSES DISRUPT THE INFORMATION FLOW IN ORGANIZATIONS

Description

The article discusses the processes of the organization, where processes with an open cycle are used. A real example of an organization where such processes lead to large financial losses is shown. The article defines the concept of an open process – as a process in which there is no feedback between departments. The paper proposes ways to adjust feedback for such processes. Finally, an analogy is drawn between two-way information descendants and SQL (Structured Query Language – a programming language used to create, modify and manage data in a relational database managed by an appropriate database management system).
