Description
Sisymbrium irioides Boiss. in Ann. Sci. Nat., Bot. ser. 2, 17: 76. 1842.
Type: “[Aucher-Eloy] N. 140, Mesopotamia ”.
Holotypus: IRAQ: “ Mesopotamia ”, s.d., Aucher-Eloy 140 (P [P02272615]; iso-: G-BOIS [G00332175]).
= Sisymbrium irio L., Sp. Pl.: 659. 1753.
Note. – The above specimen in G-BOIS is a fragmentary material consisting of a leaf and part of inflorescence taken from the unicate P 02272615 that Boissier annotated and which should be considered as the holotype (see BOISSIER, 1841a).
