There are 10 records found in different biomes, including a record within the “El Tepozteco National Park”, a reserve that is part of the “Biological Corridor Chichinautzin”, important for conservation and scientific study for the Central Mexico region (DOF 1937, CONANP 2013). The habitat of this species is in good condition according to CONABIO (2018). Therefore, Eugenia rekoi is classified as Least Concern (LC).
