Description

Preserving and Conversion of digital resources are most important and challenging process for information
resource centers. Even though we living in the digital era, the processing of born digital materials have to be preserved
without changing the originality of the material. Disentangling digitization from digitalization may seem like a nit-picky
exercise, but they are very different concepts with very different implications. This paper discusses the digitization, digital
preservation, the process adapted in All India Radio Trichy and the issues and challenges faced by the organization while
converting digital material to another digital format.
