Report on LCA: Final results and recommendations

Project Ô is working on four demosites, which in total incorporate four new water treatment modules and a total of 8 new technologies. The water treatment modules include ADV.ERT in Italy, SALTECH in Israel, MOBILE3TECH in Spain, and PHOTO.CAT in Croatia. The technologies – some of which are implemented in multiple modules – are photocatalysis, high-voltage nanosecond pulsed electric field, molecular separation membranes (membrane distillation and nanofiltration), advanced adsorption technology, photo Fenton, advanced control, and biological mixed treatment.

This Deliverable, D6.6 - Report on LCA: Final Results and Recommendations, presents results from the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of Project Ô technologies based on the latest available data, and offers recommendations on this basis.
