Poster presented at the annual retreat of the Cluster of Excellence PhoenixD (Photonics, Optics, and Engineering–Innovation Across Disciplines) in Schneverdingen, 14-16 September 2022. 

The open-source Python tools for the accurate simulation of and analysis of ultrashort pulse propagation in terms of the generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation, discussed on the poster, are detailed in the article
