Journal Special Issue (25): Crisis, Pandemics, and Counter-hegemony: Reading Paradigm Shifts across World Literature

  • 1. University College Dublin

Description

The authors inthis monographic dossier #25, “Crisis, pandemics, and counterhegemony: Reading paradigm shifts across world literature”, focus on literary narratives of the 20th and 21st centuries that sought and seek, from their own contemporaneity, to elevate the capacity to represent a time of crisis and of altered temporalities, and in so doing challenged and continue to challenge the conventional narrative forms —literary or discursive—of their times through experimentation, estrangement, or innovative narratological proposals.
