Description

This study investigates theories related to the administration and management of educational institutions, with a focus on the role of the principal. The research suggests that successful school management requires strong leadership and managerial abilities, as well as strong social skills. The principal is responsible for shaping the school's vision and overseeing the professional development of staff, and effective communication and collaboration among all members of the school community are key to the success of the school's strategic management. The duties and competencies of the principal as a manager and leader, both in theory and practice, will also be analyzed. Educational leadership and school management encompass the development and implementation of policies and procedures, the supervision and support of teachers and other staff, and the creation of a positive learning environment for students. Educational leaders, such as school principals and district administrators, play a crucial role in determining the direction and success of a school or school system. They work to establish goals and plans for achieving the school's vision and to ensure that resources are used effectively to support student learning and success. School management involves the daily operations of a school, including budgeting, scheduling, and the maintenance of facilities and resources. Effective educational leadership and school management are essential for creating a successful learning environment for students.
