Klassenlehrpersonen im Fokus der Ausbildung zur Primarlehrerin und zum Primarlehrer an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Zürich

In diesem Beitrag werden Arbeitstätigkeiten und Kompetenzen von Klassenlehrpersonen auf der  Primarstufe im Kanton Zürich sowie damit korrespondierende Anforderungen an die Ausbildung umrissen. Des Weiteren wird ein Einblick in das curriculare Angebot der Pädagogischen Hochschule Zürich gegeben. Verschiedene Aufgaben von Klassenlehrpersonen gehen weit über das Unterrichten und das Klassenzimmer hinaus und setzen anspruchsvolle Skills im sozial-emotionalen und im kognitiven Bereich, Dispositionen und spezielle Persönlichkeitsmerkmale voraus. Impulse zur Entwicklung erfolgen im Curriculum während der ganzen Ausbildungszeit und sind darüber hinaus notwendig.

The function of class teachers in the focus of primary-teacher education at the Zurich University of Teacher Education

This article outlines the professional activities and skills of class teachers at primaryschool level in the Swiss Canton of Zurich as well as the corresponding demands on the training. Furthermore, it gives an insight into the curriculum that is offered by the Zurich University of Teacher Education. Various duties of class teachers go far beyond teaching and the classroom and require demanding social-emotional and cognitive skills, dispositions, and special personality traits. Impulses for development are provided in the curriculum during the entire training period, but they are necessary even beyond.
