Ekspresowa Analiza Zagrożenia Agrofagiem: Bactericera trigonica Hodkinson, 1981

Description

The pest is present in Europe, mainly in southern regions, where it is recorded as a pest of carrots and celery. Some of the areas of current occurrence of the pest (e.g., the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, northern France) are climatically similar to the western and southwestern regions of Poland (host plants are also present), which poses a risk of its potential emergence and establishment. In Spain, on the other hand, B. trigonica was recorded as a vector on potatoes grown near Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum-infested carrot and celery crops, which are the main hosts of the pest (haplotype E was found on potato tubers after harvest).
