Distribution: Widespread in Southern Europe (Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro, Portugal, Russia (South European Territory), Spain, Slovenia, Ukraine), North Africa (Algeria, Canary Isles, Egypt, Libya, Madeira, Morocco, Tunisia) and Western Asia (Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Georgia, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Syria, Turkey (Asian part), Yemen). Extralimital records in tropical Africa.
