Description

Nemophora polychorda (Meyrick, 1914)

Nemotois polychorda Meyrick, 1914: 61. TL: China (Taiwan). TD: NHMUK.

Nemophora polychorda: Heppner, 1992: 63.

Diagnostic characters. Forewing with a narrow ochreous yellow streak from base to inner fascia and eight ochreous yellow stripes from beyond outer fascia to apex (Matsumura 1932: 126).

Distribution. China (Taiwan), Japan.

Remarks. Meyrick (1914) described this species from Taiwan, China. Hirowatari (2005) recorded this species in the Ryukyus, Japan. The specimen is not available in this study.
