Study of Spiders (Arachnida, Araneae) in Agstafa Region

Description

In the paper results of the investigation of the spider fauna in Agstafa district conducted in 2012 -2014 years are provided. During the period of the investigation 24 species of spiders belonging to 11 families were found. Eight genera (Arctosa C.L.Koch, 1847; Parasteatoda Archer, 1946; Pachygnatha Sundevall, 1823; Enoplognatha Pavesi, 1880; Crustulina Menge, 1868; Asagena Sundevall, 1833; Heriaeus Simon, 1875; Tmarus Simon, 1875) and 13 species [Neriene clathrata (Sundevall, 1830); Philodromus dispar (Walckenaer, 1826); Thanatus imbecillus L. Koch, 1878; Pholcus phalangioides (Fuesslin, 1775; Arctosa tbilisiensis Mcheidze, 1946; Pardosa agrestis (Westring, 1861); Crustulina sticta (O. P.-Cambridge, 1861); Pachygnatha degeeri Sundevall, 1830; Parasteatoda lunata (Clerck, 1757); Enoplognatha quadripunctata (Simon, 1884 ); Asagena phalerata (Panzer, 1801); Heriaeus sp.; Tmarus horvathi Kulczynski, 1895] are new records for the fauna of the Ganja-Gazakh zone and two species (Clubiona frutetorum, L.Koch, 1867; Monaeses israeliensis Levy, 1973) for the whole Caucasus.
