Description
Phanaeus substriolatus Balthasar, 1939
Recorded Distribution: MEXICO: Oaxaca — Dist. Huajuapam, Puebla — Tepexi de Rodríguez, Acatlán, Xayacatlán de Bravo, San Pedro Yeloixtlahuaca.
Altitude: from 1430 to 1911 m a.s.l.
Biomes: Deserts & Xeric Shrublands, Tropical & Subtropical Coniferous Forests, Tropical & Subtropical Dry Broadleaf Forests.
Ecorregions: NEOTROPIC: Tehuacán Valley matorral, Sierra Madre del Sur pine-oak forests, Balsas dry forests.
Predicted distribution: This species distributes from 17.64° to 18.35° latitude in an area of 1,059 Km2. Its predicted distribution has a mean annual temperature of 22.85-24.26° C with a maximum difference of temperature of 20.75° C during the year and mean precipitation of 373-573 mm per year.
