Distribution: Neotropical.
Records in Ecuador: Galápagos (Isla Bartolomé).
Habitat: Isla Bartolomé: Mangroves near Pinnacle Rock; littoral zone; leaf litter, sand, mud and moss under Maytenus octogona. Isla Santa Cruz: Puerto Ayora, near ‘Fragata’; littoral zone; leaf litter and soil under Rhizophora mangle.
