Description

The following data have been used to conduct the analysis that is reported in the "Recruiting controls from an online panel for a case-control study enabled a timely and reliable foodborne Salmonella outbreak investigation, Germany 2021" manuscript:

1. Complete dataset: contains the individual-level data collected among cases (n=32), classical (n=110) and HuGO panel controls (n=156)

2. FM_Hugo_controls: contains the random selections of individual-level data collected among the HuGO panel members to perform frequency matching on sex and age groups (n=81)

3. Codebook: contains description and coding of the variables
