Reproduction and use of labor resources of agricultural enterprises

The subject of research is reproduction and use of labor resources of agricultural enterprises.
The purpose of the study is to determine the main areas of increasing the efficiency of the use of
labor resources.
Research methods. The work uses the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, the method of
analysis and synthesis, the comparative method, and the method of summarizing data.
Work results. The paper provides the definition of «labor resources». The classification of employees
according to the nature of the work performed is outlined. Labor productivity indicators are determined.
Conclusions. With the appropriate technical equipment of each enterprise, the level of labor
security of the production process significantly affects the results of economic activity, and the higher
it is, the more gross products are produced. The qualitative composition of labor resources plays not
the least role in the efficiency of agricultural production, because with the same number of permanent
employees, each enterprise achieves different labor results, and accordingly, different results of
economic activity. An important role in stabilizing and expanding the employment of employees is
the development of types of activities, diversification of production and the appropriate level of its
payment. The number of workers employed in agricultural production is directly related to the level
of labor productivity. A motivational mechanism for increasing labor productivity based on the use
of economic, organizational and social factors is necessary. It envisages, through the creation of
alternative economic formations, the improvement of land and property relations, the strengthening
of the individual interest of employees in the development of production.
