TOPS November 10 2022 Community Forum

NASA’s Transform to Open Science (TOPS) mission is being designed to support the adoption of open science and broaden participation in science. During the 2023 Year of Open Science TOPS is planning a broad suite of resources, events, and activities. TOPS efforts are built on relationships with a variety of diverse communities. Critical to these relationships is open, candid, and complete two-way communication. This month, TOPS presented on F.14 Transform to OPen Science Training (TOPST) solicits proposals to advance open science literacy. This element will support three types of activities: 

1. development of ScienceCore materials, discipline specific curricula modules around NASA Science Mission Directorate (SMD) divisions,

2. implementation of Summer Schools for SMD science teams, and

3. Virtual Cohorts participating in OpenCore curricula training.
