batsteve/great-kl-kanagawa: Simulation design adn surrogate modeling for ocean engineering with Karhunen-Loeve wave episodes and the Large Amplitude Motions Program (LAMP)
Authors/Creators
Description
Sample code for the Guth-Sapsis statistical model of marine vessel hydrodynamics by way of short Karhunen-Loeve wave episodes. Included are two main code bases: 1) LAMP_Wrapper, which creates the appropriate experimental design for LAMP, and 2) GP_Active_Search, which creates a Gaussian Process surrogate model for the LAMP output--the Vertical Bending Moment.
Additionally, we include LAMP_Postprocessing, which converts the LAMP output data into a convenient form, and Working_Folder, which includes a number of parameter files necessary to run LAMP.
Nota Bene: no LAMP binaries or source files are included here! LAMP is prioprietary software developed by Leidos (formerly SAIC)!
