Description

The uploads represent scanned microsection images of Eucalyptus grandis stem segments, sectioned in the transverse orientation. The scans were conducted using a Nikon eclipse Ni-E upright motorized microscope with NIS-Elements D software, 20x objective, at a resolution of 0.24 µm/pixel-1 in 24-bit RGB. The stem segments were prepared in paraffin wax prior to sectioning. Subsequently, the mounted cross-sections were stained with Safranin-Alcian Blue.
