Principles for impact assessment of PILOTING against SoEL requirements
Creators
Description
This deliverable constitutes an update of the deliverable D9.1 and concerns the PILOTING project's social, ethical, and legal (SoEL) aspects.
The deliverable D9.1 identified, at the time of writing (June of 2020), the SoEL principles which applied to the PILOTING project, to set the requirements that constituted a benchmark against which project activities and outcomes were assessed, the "PILOTING Impact Assessment Framework".
The deliverable D9.3 aims to update the SoEL principles with any updates to legislation that have occurred in the last two years. Furthermore, currently, the third year of the project is underway, and the first development phase has been completed. The PILOTING consortium is now working on the integration and validation part of the PILOTING solution. In this stage of the project, the PILOTING consortium has a best knowledge of the final PILOTING solution and is able to analyse better the SoEL requirements that can be applied to the project.
Then, the "PILOTING Impact Assessment Framework" (guidelines for the impact assessment, which apply to each "PILOTING Impact scenario") defined in the D9.1 has been updated taking into account the new requirements identified.
Finally, this deliverable maintains the impact assessment methodology, which will occur in three phases: the initial phase consisting in setting the framework (the deliverables D9.1 and D9.3); performing the impact assessment during each iteration of the PILOTING project: each one corresponding to Deliverable 9.2 and 9.4 respectively; and the continuous monitoring of the impacts upon SoEL requirements.
