Description

The GUI_Mesetas file zip, three text files and one MATLAB script are included. The files are aftershocks.dat, faults.dat, default3.inp and fault3D_show.m. The MATLAB script is a GUI enabling a 3D view of aftershocks, geological faults, and the main and conjugate planes of M1 and M2 to visualize the proposed scenarios (A and B). The user should a) extract the zipped file, b) launch MATLAB and navigate to this folder, and c) edit the configuration file default3.inp that contains latitude, longitude, depth, strike and dip of the fault plane to M1 and M2. In this case, the user can change the fault planes to visualize scenario A. d) Run the zlom3D_show.m script. In the GUI, the user has the option to change the strike and dip of M1 and M2 to evaluate the proposed scenarios A and B and save the configuration file and the graphics of the entire interface and the main plot in PDF format. Additionally, the user has the option to change the type of view in the right panel of the interface. It is possible to save the parameters edited in the default3.inp and save figures of the complete view of the GUI and another with the general view of the plot.
